This yoyo was designed with a similar bowl design of the popular Genesis yoyo, and its unresponsive play is for the advanced player that is looking for a yoyo that can do it all! The Catalyst Yoyo has a shape that is similar to the original Sever yoyo. It is an unresponsive yoyo, so you must be able to “bind” the yoyo to get it to return to your hand. A bind is when you wrap the string around the gap while the yoyo is in motion. This will create friction, and the yoyo will return to your hand. The Catalyst Yoyo is made from premium aluminum metal, and it has a heavy feel at first in your hand. The weight is evenly distributed, so once you start throwing it, you will be amazed at the stability and speed that it produces. The Catalyst also has a cool and serious look, due to the laser etched graphics on the face of the yoyo. Color patterns vary with each yoyo. It plays very fast, but can handle slow play. It can dodge many mistakes and good at landing those complex and difficult to land tricks.
