YoyoJam is better known for their plastic yoyos like the Dark Magic II, but with the latest metal yoyo they have come out with, this might be changing. The YoyoJam Captivate yoyo is a new metal model that was designed in conjunction with Hungarian National Champion Balint Farkas ("Vooper"), who helped them end up with a yoyo that features extremely long spin times, but also an amazing level of "quickness" on the string and in the air.

YoyoJam designed the Captivate with an aerodynamic shape intended to efficiently spin with multiple string layers in all orientations. This means that it won't choke when you're doing those ultra complicated new school string tricks that boggle the minds of spectators. The outer shape focuses on bringing weight to the rim and the center for the ultimate in flow and spin. This unique shape is unlike anything else in the YoYoJam line up.

Captivate comes standard in YoYoJam's signature acid wash anodized finish, with a 10-Ball stainless SPEED Bearing, and Silicone Response pads. The entire yo-yo is precision machined from a high-grade aircraft aluminum. True to its name, from the first throw you are captivated by this yo-yos amazing spin, speed, and smoothness.

Get ready for competition with the YoYoJam Captivate! As a pro level metal yoyo, the Captivate comes with a wide C bearing that makes it non-responsive. Non-responsive means that the yoyo will not wake up when you throw a sleeper and tug on the string. You'll have to learn to do a "bind" trick to force it to wake up in order to use this yoyo.

If you are buying a yoyo, don't forget to buy a yo-yo trick book to carry with you, a yoyo trick DVD for at home, and extra yoyo strings. Learning new tricks makes yoyoing much more fun, and you'll need extra strings, because they wear out with regular use.
